Not every historical record carries the same evidential weight. Source quality is retained so a journalist, researcher or public body can see what each record actually supports.
Independent public
Major media, universities, schools, professional bodies and other independent contemporary sources.
Published archive
Freedom Charity or Aneeta-owned public material. Useful for what was published or said; major external claims still need corroboration.
Physical archive
Programmes, invitations, photographs, recordings, correspondence and other surviving archive evidence.
Recovery leads are different.Recollections or incomplete leads stay in the working archive until they can be corroborated. They are not added to the public index simply to make the record look larger.
